Movie and book reviews :-)

Johnny and I finished watching the movie Australia last night. It took us 2 nights because it's really long! But despite it being a long movie we both really enjoyed it! I give it 2 thumbs up. It was filled with action and love which appeals to both Johnny and June ;-)

Hugh Jackman is a total hotty!

And that little boy is so adorable with his big eyes. I kept commenting about every 10 minutes how darn cute he was!!

The movie is about what was happening in Australia during World War 2. Nicole Kidman's husband is a cattle rancher who is murdered so she has to take over. Her and Hugh manage the ranch together, go thru some ups and downs and of course fall in love. It's a great movie and I would definitely recommend it!
Movie Rating: Buy It!

Movie rating key:
See in Theater = Excellent
Buy It = Excellent
See in Cheapseats= Very Good
Rent It = Good
Don't bother = Bad
Wish I could get those 2 hours back! = Very Bad

I also finished a book last night, Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Lorna Landvik. It was for my book club last month (oops! I'm a little behind) but I had to read it because I was told how good it was.

It was an EXCELLENT book! It takes place in the town I currently live in (which makes it even more fun because I know the places they talk about) and is about 5 housewives who meet in the 1960's and form a bookclub. The book spans almost 40 years and talks about the different problems they all face. It's a very heartwarming book because of the strong bond between all 5 women. I highly, highly recommend it!!!

Happy day!
June

I got Australia from Netflix a week or so ago and still haven't gotten around to watching it yet...I know I'd have to block out a big chunk of time and just haven't had one. This weekend for sure!
